Jeff Bastien - Reporter: Jeff has been involved with a variety of community theatre groups, as an actor and director, since 1994. Past productions include No Sex Please, We're British (Brian Runnicles), Hide and Seek (Director), Reefer Madness (Ralph), Crimes of the Heart (Director), Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Director), Zoo Story (Jerry), Here on the Flight Path (Jim Cummings), Orphans (Danny), Red (Ken), Bug (Director), Threshold of Magic (Tom Thomson), Noises Off (Director), Fool for Love (Martin), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Director/Bottom). Jeffery is a founding member and Artistic Director for Ghost Light Players. He has won a variety of awards from WODL and Theatre Ontario for his efforts over the years.
Mysteria BaylissHarris - Missy: Mysteria has been involved in theatre since 2012. Some current/past productions include Voices of Vimy (Missy), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Lysander), Riders to the Sea (Maurya), To Kill A Mockingbird (Calpurnia), Anything Goes (Evangeline Harcourt).
Lucas Guignard - Joey: Lucas has been involved in community theatre since 2013, and acted previously in high school productions both local and international. Some current/past productions include Noises Off (Frederick); The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged (himself), 1984 (various), The Phantom of the Opera (Firmin), The Drowsy Chaperone (Robert), The Crucible (Ezekiel Cheever). He is currently studying at the University of Windsor in the Concurrent Education and E.C.E. program. In 2014, he was the adjudicator of the Windsor District for the Sears Ontario Drama Festival.
Brett Hallick - Charles: Brett has been involved in community theatre for ten years. He has done numerous theatre productions all around the county like Les Miserables (Gavroche), Fame (Nick Piazza), Beauty and the Beast (Gaston), Peter Pan (Captain Hook), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Charlie Bucket), On Golden Pond (Billy Ray). He has won awards from Sears Fest and from other productions over the years.
Chris Lanspeary - Uncle James: Chris has enjoyed many years in theatre playing a diverse range of characters. Favourites include Lloyd in Noises Off, Atticus in To Kill A Mockingbird, Petruchio in Taming of the Shrew, Renfield in Dracula, Reverend Brown in Inherit the Wind and Daddy in Die Mommy, Die. Chris received WODL’s Best Actor award for his role as George in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?.
Niki Richardson - Mother: Niki has always been a part of the local theatre scene, whether doing improv, acting, singing, directing, stage managing or sitting on a board of directors. Her favorite productions include The Underpants (Gertrude), TOMMY! (Mrs. Simpson), Lend Me a Tenor (Director), Witness for the Prosecution (Romaine Vole), Bedside Manners (Director), Taming of the Shrew (Katherina), In The Next Room (Annie), August, Osage County (Barbara), Skin Flick (Director), and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Martha) for which she won a WODL award for Best Actress.
Kris Simic - Betrothed: Kris has been involved in theatre on stage as an actress and behind the scenes as a stage hand, set builder/decorator and marketing/graphic design. Past productions include Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (Ensemble/Wife/Egyptian girl), It’s a Wonderful Life (Violet), The Resolution (Daphna) and Voices of Vimy (Betrothed).
Dean Valentino: Dean has been involved in theatre (dramatic and musical) and film on and off for over 25 years. His recent stage credits include Othello (Director, Iago), Bug (Jerry Goss), As You Like It (Jaques), The Tragical History of Dr. Faustus (Mephistopheles), Here on the Flight Path (Director), Waiting for the Parade (Director), Orwell’s 1984 (Goldstein), Eurydice (The Devil).
